- The 2.06 square ft (1914 sq. cm) dryer door opening is the largest in the
industry making loading and unloading easy.
- Extra large cylinder capacity (7.0 cu ft) provides increased
tumbler action and superior handling of permanent press fabrics. Accommodates
the largest loads for greater customer satisfaction.
- Double the capacity of a single small dryer in the same floor space!
- Exclusive Stack Dryer Security. Separate security module containing coin vaults for stack dryers are reinforced with 12 internal screws. Access can only be gained using special keys to vault and control panel locks. Replacement of the security module in case of vandalism is conveniently made without moving or disassembling the unit.
- Large up-front lint filter. Convenient to reach and easy to clean,
this lint filter is positioned so that customers will not be bothered by it
and clothing will not fall into it.
- Front Serviceability. Two-piece front panel increases ease of service.
Motor, blower, heating element, gas valve, and thermostats can be serviced
through the lower panel without disconnecting the door switch. Front panels
for gas and electric are the same, reducing service parts inventory.
- High Security System. Vandals won't care to risk the time, energy,
and noise required to break into Speed Queen's re-designed dryer. Its
innovative meter case design contains 40% more solid metal with a new
double-wrapped metal front, making it twice as hard to break into. A
sturdy metal plate and heavy-duty bolts reinforce the security of Speed
Queen's enhanced meter case to the top of the dryer.
